unspoilt, with none of the over - development that has disfigured

Living Waterside
The family fell in love with Harbour House because, although right
by the sea (there are panoramic views from every room and especially
from the large terrace) the house feels safe, solid and friendly.
Built of Brac stone like the White House in Washington, it is a
famous
landmark and often appears in photos of Bol.
Orange Grove House offers a completely different experience
from
Harbour House. Also harbourside it solidly built of Brac
stone but is quite
palatial with large rooms and high ceilings. It is like a small
palace, and
may well have been one as the Postiran nobles originally built their
dwellings by the sea. Some say that Vladimir Nazor, Croatia's most
famous poet, was born in the house and this might be true as there
is
a statue of him immediately outside it.
