"British Airways have regular Tuesday & Thursday flights
to Split Airport
on the Croatian Mainland during the summer months.
Croatian Airlines also fly to Split Airport.
From the Airport you take a taxi to Split Harbour (about 20-25
minutes away)
and catch the 1 hour Jadrolinja ferry to the Island of Brac. A
taxi or bus ride
from Supetar, the pretty little town which is the main ferry port
for Brac, brings
you to your destination in either Bol or Postira, or you can hire
a car from one
of the Car Hire companies that are located close to the dock in
Supetar.
Another way to get to Brac is to take an inexpensive Ryanair
flight to Ancona
in Italy. From here you catch the overnight BLUE LINE ferry that
travels every
day to Croatia, leaving at 9 pm and arriving in Split Harbour
at approx: 7.15am
the following morning). It docks close to the Jadrolinja ticket
office where you
can purchase your onward ferry ticket to the island of Brac.
'Inexpensive return flights to Split, on the Mainland, can be
purchased from
many different airlines with departure from London, Stanstead,
Bristol, Luton,
and other airports'.
