Harbour House is in an idyllic location on
Bol Harbour and is built of white Brac stone,
like The White House, in Washington.
It's quite simply perfect for a beach holiday
as Croatia's most famous beach, and the
local diving centre are nearby.
The house comprises two large bedrooms
with king-size beds and a well-furnished
terrace sitting room also contains a
comfortable sofa-bed that opens into two
full-size single beds, one sliding out from
beneath the other.
This room leads onto a spacious terrace
which overlooks the sea, and has a large
circular cedarwood table with a lazy susan
in the middle, six reclining chairs and
a large parasol.
"All Rooms have Sea Views"
In Bol you can find an activity to suit most
tastes, from swimming, boating, surfing,
scuba diving and snorkeling; You can also
wind-surf at the Golden Horn (Zlatni Rat),
or for the more adventurous, climb the
tree-covered mountainous slopes that
rise up behind the village.
Bol's most famous attraction is the
Golden Horn, a long spit of fine shale
reaching out into the crystalline sea.
Along its spine are pinewoods to which
you can retreat if the sun gets too hot.
At lunchtime visitors can sample the
splendid barbequed meat and fish
that is available for sale there !
The easy route to the Golden Horn is
either by boat or by the small road train
that trundles to and from the beach,
although Bol beach is only two minutes
away from Harbour House.
In the opposite direction, a short walk
along the coastal path, is a beautiful
Dominican monastery with its own
sheltered beach which has a excellent
restaurant in a converted
fisherman's house.
You can walk into Harbour House
and immediately feel at home.
